YOUTH (11-18’s)

We love young people at St. Andrew’s!

We have a wonderful team of volunteers running groups and activities.
There are weekly youth clubs, Sunday groups, trips and special events.

Check out some of our past events on our Facebook or Instagram.

This page shows the groups that run regularly at the church.
If you are interested in trying out something, get in touch with Sarah-Joy Woodcock our Youth Worker.

Survivors

Is our Sunday morning group, that meets whilst St. Andrew’s Church hold their service. We start off in the main congregation and then leave to start our session. We play games, learn about the Bible, pray and discover the big adventure God has planned for us. Young people usually join this group around the age of 10.

*Survivors are currently meeting on Zoom at 4pm on Sundays, except for the 2nd Sunday of the month when it is a Church Lite service.

Pathfinders

Is a Youth Club for 11-14’s.
Meeting every Tuesday night term-time from 7:15-8:45pm at St. Andrew’s Church. Filled with games and fun activities, cooking, craft, music, board games, table tennis ect. Each evening is different, but with the same friendly faces. We try to go on a trip at least once each term, we have been bowling, trampolining, mini-golf, swimming and all sorts of other activities. Come for your first week for free to try it out. There is usually a weekly subs of just £1.

The Pathfinders team have just created a new Podcast for young people to listen to at home.

New Gen

Is our older youth group for those aged 14-18. New Gen meets every Wednesday night term-time at St. Andrew’s Church. We have fun, food, and all sorts of activities from 7:30-9:30pm. We encourage the group to share life together and to have good discussions about a range of topics in our end of evening time, Explore.

* New Gen are currently meeting on Zoom each Wednesday, to do games, cooking and quizzes.
